Inspired by the contradictory "eco-brutalist" architectural style in which concrete-heavy brutalist buildings are super-imposed with a faux-sustainable façade of vegetation the "Erde Chair" is a planter-armchair amalgamation with a moss-ottoman cast from the negative space. The name comes from the German word "Erde" which means soil, ground, earth.
