Historical patriarchal notions tended to diminish the achievements of women in history. Spreading across cultures and setting the tones for which others view womanhood, such norms often robbed women of role models that could challenge the status quo. With this piece, I invite you, to challenge the world around you, even when that world pressures you to conform (whether on a conscious or subconscious level).
