Three mountains

"Three mountains" is an environment that is part of my "glitchy environments" series. With the help of specific Photoshop tools like the Magic Wand Selection tool, as well as the color dynamic brush feature, i slowly create layers of cut and pasted textures, sculpting one area after another, to the point of obtaining a compelling environment. I always focus on the loneliness and general poetry of the landscape, extracting emotions and mood through a very specific use of complementary colors. Finally, I usually leave a small percentage of noise and glitches: It's a consequence of the process, which adds a great layer of texturing to the final image.
