FX Series Vol.1 : Melting Jewelry

FX Series Vol.1 "Exploration of visual effects that is simple to describe but challenging to execute!" __ When we talk about VFX we imagine explosions, destruction, energy waves etc.. stuff that we always see in movies, but VFX for me is exploring the effects in real life that have been tried less. Simple things like what if you drop a fireball on iron or how a paper looks when it's burning… easy to describe but challenging to recreate! The FX Series is a project that I started about 2 months ago. It's all about simple visual effects but hard to execute to challenge my VFX abilities. At first some of the effects seemed impossible to create, but I insisted for days until I found a good starting point. __ Melting jewelry is inspired by amazing jewelry artist Alina Alamorean (alina-alamorean.com)! First time I saw her art I was amazed how creative and out of the box it is! Immediately told myself I gotta recreate this in 3D! I always love to mix different Art mediums together and this was a perfect opportunity! This one had that simple real life effect that I was looking for as well as an amazing product and story!
