Nyahan's Fantastical Argos

This is my Genesis Piece. My work is about creating fantasy objects that feel alive and have character. As a child, I would daydream and see inanimate objects become animate, conjuring up my fantasy worlds. Now I'm an adult and I can make those dreams and thougths come to life. This Fantastical Mirror is a special digital piece - a collage of various clay sculptures I made to express what I see and love to see in my fantasy world. This particular piece was inspired by Argos - a Greek mythology creature with a hundred eyes. Argos was described as "all-seeing", and that's what I feel my own creatures in Nyahan's World are: all seeing and all knowing. When I was in quarantine for a month, I began to wonder if the furniture in my room could perceive me and part of my mind believed that they could. So I want to worlds in object that I interact with on a personal level. Will you take this journey into my whimsical world? Can you?
