Wave Stone - Venus

An animation based on one of the real marble statues of Leo Caillard. This statue is inspired by the iconic « Venus Kallipygos » from ancient Greece. Leo Caillard carves marble with waves and distorsions to create a new version of the ancient statue. In between "Reality" of the Stone and "Virtuality" of the shape. The Canyon also create a dialog in between the environment and the sculpture. Both made of waves and liquid shapes that sculpt the stone.
