This work was created from her election poster from 2005. This pixelation is the basis of one of my new works. I own a large collection of GDR flags and will recreate this picture from square sections of these flags. A re-pixalation with historical material, so to speak. I like this woman very much and it ends with her the era of the East Germans who are still looking to finally become aligned Germans. In wages, pensions, recognition and acceptance.
