What kid didn’t want to be an astronaut when they grew up? I had big dreams of going to space camp, years of training, and one day getting to walk amongst the stars. But that life didn’t pan out for many reasons. After finding photography it didn’t take long to realize that shooting the moon was probably the closest I was ever going to get to achieving my childhood dream, and honestly I couldn’t be happier with where things ended up.
Photography has meant more to me than anything else in this universe. As photographers we have the power to freeze time. When I look back on the many moments that I've been lucky enough to capture throughout my life... Of our beautiful world, of my family, this image will always stand out as one of my favorites.
