Cosmic Love

Cosmic Love is the latest sculpture from my ‘Soulmates’ series. This ongoing project explores the different forms relationships take through a series of large stainless steel sculptures installed over the past years in the Nevada desert. In the late fall of 2021, over the course of 2 days, battling heavy winds and rain, we installed this 25ft tall sculpture in an empty desert. As the internal light system glimmered through darkness, this merged couple expanded into the universe. We filmed & photographed it day & night, then broke it down, and headed home just in time to beat an incoming storm that would have flooded the desert. Like a beacon of hope and love, merging metal sculpture, lights, digital art & video, this work is a peek into my obsession with Magical Realism.
