As landscape photographers, we all strive to improve, to make each image our best. We spend many hours in the field perfecting our craft, looking for that mythical / virtually unobtainable perfect composition. I've been patiently waiting to photograph this beautiful Oak Tree in the spring mist. I finally got the conditions I craved to create my vision.
Here I used a Full-Spectrum converted camera and a 590nm filter. This filter covers the electromagnetic spectrum from infrared to near-ultraviolet, wavelengths longer than visible light. It is therefore invisible to the human eye.
