Eternally Waiting

As I was growing up, when I closed my eyes, I had an intuition that something profound was waiting out in the abyssal darkness. Trying to reach it had felt like trying to catch a puff of smoke. It wasn't until focusing on meditation that I learned not to chase it, but rather let go and wait... until you become it. Until you no longer only see darkness, but rather all the beauty in light that's cast from your flame.
