Fall From Grace

"Fall From Grace" explores the dichotomy between perfection and unnerving reality. It is beautiful and graceful, while at the same time sinking into dark oblivion. The mixture of the calm nature of the colors, the posing, and the styling coupled with falling underwater into oblivion explore how the positive and negative aspects of life can coexist at the same in an often beautiful yet difficult way. Similarly, this image was shot in one of Florida's natural springs. The springs are beautiful, crystal clear, and seemingly endless, but the unnerving reality is that they are being plundered for money by big business on a daily basis.
