Make Believe

Have you ever taken the time to notice how the light around you changes? How it creates strong contrasting shadows during the day and softens as the day comes to an end? How the clouds turn pink only for a few minutes and transition into tones of purples and blues? The blues turn into darkness, while the stars and moon begin to light up the night sky. My imagination begins to run wild from the moment the sun starts to set until the moment it rises again the next day. This is when reality sleeps and anything becomes possible. On the morning I took this photograph, I watched the colors of the landscape change as the world awakened from its slumber. From complete darkness to complete light – I watched the sunlight dance across the turquoise waters and turned the sky into a pastel dreamland. It is at this time that my imaginations take over and become my reality.
