Bonapace’s contemporary 'Resurrection' is the third chapter - after the 'Crucifixion' and the "Annunciation" - of a set of three Artworks defined by a deep thinking about Human Values, Faith, Society and Technology.
The scene is imagined as a 19th century Operating Theater with no human presence, according to the Gospel.
Artistic Heritage, Machines and Androids are the only viewers taking part in the act.
"God the Father" is leading the surgery, with the assistance of Saint John, Mary - mother of Jesus - and Magdalene, all represented as Androids with the exclusion of Jesus, lying beneath the white cloth, as human presented to the World.
Media and journalists are depicted as androids and the overall scene is portrayed under thousands of flashes coming from classical robotic busts put in place by the Machines, to simulate human artistic heritage.
Everything is presented in a Worldwide Event, as expected could happen nowadays according to the Author. ||5000x2813 Pixel On Canvas | Video Loop | Audio
