NINE TO FIVE

(iv6) this piece portrays how a nine to five job can feel like a trap sometimes. having worked multiple 9-5 jobs, i understand how frustrating it can be. however, i do think that 9-5 jobs are vilified a bit much these days. sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! i've been attempting to escape the shackles of these jobs for a long time, and it might finally be possible with my art. growing up, my brother and i would always talk about how we want to do something we're passionate about and use our talents instead of letting them go to waste spending all of our time in cubicles. having the financial comfort and security to create endlessly is all i've ever wanted. i sincerely hope that everyone who has dreams of taking their talents to the highest levels, but is stuck in a 9-5, is able to escape. i believe in you. “if you find what you do each day seems to have no link to any higher purpose, you probably want to rethink what you’re doing.” –ronald heifetz chase your dreams and don't stop <3 details: digital painting 4150 x 5180 (4k+) 400 ppi 600+ layers 48mb .png ᓚᘏᗢ
