FORTUNATE OBJECT #3: FORTUNE COOKIE

FORTUNATE OBJECTS explores objects in life that are vectors for fortune, or misfortune. To each person, each object may spark a memory, or have a different connotation. This animation blends the photograph of the fortune cookie with the physical oil painting of the cookie to show it in multiple forms. The original collector of this piece gets the physical object itself to display, the photograph which can be kept digitally, or the owner may print it, and a 24x36 oil on canvas painting. FORTUNATE OBJECTS bridges 4 separate artistic disciplines of ready made art, photography, digital art, and oil painting, and is the most ambitious GDR project to date.
