Transcend

"Transcend" is an awe-inspiring piece for me and I invite you into a realm of your own profound introspection. Carry with you that introspection as you transcend the limitations of our physical existence. The artwork features a stark and ethereal landscape that seems to exist in a realm beyond our earthly perceptions. Nate Hill is a master at creating a feeling of vast spaces using very little. I am often captivated with my own thoughts while I am with his work, feeling like he is giving me a safe place for deep self reflection. His use of the human form not only creates a sense of scale, but also a familiarity which often places me inside the piece. By taking that form out of the scene we are reminded of the importance of what is so often temporary. The portal that emerges serves as a visual transcendence, urging us to embark on a journey of self-discovery and explore the limitless boundaries of our own imaginations.
