Normalisation Machine
it will fit you to the system.
it brutally cuts, rips off, shreds everything that differs from the average, and produces a predictable outcome - socially acceptable product. you can have an enormously expanded universe inside of you, but the machine will tear it into pieces if society won’t accept it. the machine would consume and destroy ‘anomalies’ that could be labelled as /strange/delusional/dangerous. expected result should be distilled and bound by common sense.
but the machine is not evil. its existence by design is dedicated to one sole goal - survival. to prevent you from becoming an outcast. you need to look like everyone else to be a part of modern culture. all for the sake of acceptance by external observers.
all its mechanics and structure are artificial. common expectation created by society, tradition, and canons - external influence carried by our culture.
even if you try to change its judgment, the machine couldn’t care less.
but you actually can still see and experience your raw potential when you pause its functions to take a sneaky peak at a person-you-could-be.
