This is not just another project, it is a statement in the face of a catastrophic situation that is happening in the city of Valencia and the surrounding towns. The floods have left the communities that border the city completely destroyed, and the only help that the victims are receiving is from the neighbors and from the people who live in Valencia who, with our own means, go to remove the furniture that is covered in mud, to remove the water from the houses, to pile everything up in the streets because absolutely everything is ready to be thrown away. Everything has been completely destroyed. The authorities have not come to help, the military has not been ordered to collaborate with the mobilization of the largest elements, so you walk through the streets and what you see is an accumulation of scrap metal, completely destroyed and piled up cars that prevent passage on the roads. Yesterday I sat down to watch television and I was completely shocked to see what the news reflected, to see what other people think is happening in Valencia. It is my duty as a witness to the biggest catastrophe that is taking place in Spain to share the relevant information about what happened. The government is not the one helping to clean up the streets, WE ARE THE NEIGHBORS AND THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN VALENCIA CITY. The police who have assisted the affected places are too few, and it is very painful to see how, for the arrival of the king and the president, a battalion of cars parades through the completely destroyed streets. In Valencia we have been waiting for the same assistance for 6 days and it has been completely denied. The town has been COMPLETELY ABANDONED BY THE SPANISH GOVERNMENT. Completely left to chance. THEY HAVE NOT YET EMPTY ALL THE GARAGES, THE BONAIRE SHOPPING CENTER IS A CEMETERY, THE WATER HAS NOT YET BEEN REMOVED. Do not believe anything that is said, ask people close to us, people we know. This is the result of the people at the top, of not having stopped the capitalist machine because it is seen that it is not convenient. This is something that is broken at the base and the people are the ones who end up paying. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WERE BUYING IN THE STORES, NO ONE WARNED WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN, THIS IS A CATASTROPHE TOO BIG FOR THE CITIZENS, I understand and comprehend that from the comfort of their homes they do not come to measure what it feels like but it is SCARY, ABSOLUTE PANIC THE VALUE THAT IS GIVEN TO PEOPLE'S LIVES. When these things hit close to home, the panorama is completely bleak. FAMILY, THERE IS NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE COMMUNITY.
