Who to Free and Who to Blame is an artwork about political erasure and war. The fate of the world is being decided by self-righteous, modern-day gods (or demons, rather) who turn their backs on the earth, its humans, animals, the land, and the sea.
The pale, bruised, blind, winged horse tries to tear away and fight back. Its body explodes in pain. With cleated shoes, it stands on the ground shifting beneath it. Its wings are clipped, its armor too light. It walks over a scattered “xoxoxoxo” symbolizing lost loved ones who were also failed by the world they were born into.
