Checkered Circle

What appears empty is a compressed archive. Countless checkered lines, layered and collapsed, condense into what only seems like void. The surface lies—beneath it vibrates the accumulated density of division made visible. Echoing the circular rhythm of Ganggangsullae—a traditional Korean performance of song and dance—fractured figures extend hands across rupture. This is healing itself: fractured things holding hands, still broken, yet connected.
