"Nwata kwocha aka, o soro ogaranya rie nri" is an Igbo proverb which translates to “if a child washes their hands, they can eat with kings (elders)”. But my understanding of the proverb says when you prepare yourself for greatness it’s only a matter of time till you can sit with greatness only through hard work and perseverance. But you have to wash your hands first to receive it.
