I Am Ophelia

I am Ophelia. I didn’t go mad, and I didn’t take my own life. I just left a world that had no place for feeling. Between my father’s death and Hamlet’s cold words, something inside me cracked and silence became my only shelter. The water swallowed me, but not to kill it held me, to calm me, to remind me that love doesn’t have to end in death, as long as you remain within yourself.
