Rubik's Blockchain

The blockchain, what a concept. Tokenized digital assets and innovation in the art industry go hand in hand. With animation and computer assisted artwork, a simple Rubik's cube is no longer the epitome of the toy. Rubik's Blockchain was designed in MAXON Cinema4D using OTOY OctaneRender's geometric normal mappings to generate the triplanar coloration. The sparkling shift in the colors as the cube expands and rotates is caused by the smoothed normals being pushed to their maximum value once they cross a threshold. This artwork was originally inspired by viewing SuperRare's cryptoart, and now it will join them. Best of luck in solving this cube.
