Inspired by 1953 painting "Goedsul - O, hoe hoog zijn wij verheven" by Johfra Bosschart. I recreated the character and the environment in 3D, but instead of recreating the idyllic background within the character existed in the original - I made it sort of apocalyptic, filled with smog and dead trees.
