Skin imperfections and color adjustments abstracted from photographic portraits become the base layers for paintings I create in Photoshop. Pixels are pushed and soft layers of color are added forming an abstract painting. While originating from the corporeal, final compositions often resemble celestial formations. This work is part of my larger series "Color, Balance".
