I started out titling the very first Flame Painter drawing "UYTRE", or some other keyboard smash of similar (non)significance, and then went on to (without any reason I can recall) call the GIMP work file "Orlando". I thought that might be a bit strange, given that's also the name of a city, so I removed a syllable and simply called the final version ORLAN. Interestingly enough, I googled the name and discovered that's the name of an artist who is famous for being a pioneer of the Carnal Arts, AKA., body modification / plastic surgery as a form of artistic expression. I, of course, thought that was a humorous coincidence, so kept the name.
