StoryI got the idea of using something with a Japanese stone lantern from looking at my Arizona Green Tea can, and while sculpting the lantern I was listening to one of the Harry Potter books on Audible. This was when I instantly came up with the idea and story for this piece.
For anyone who may be a fan of the series but not very deep into it like some people, Mahoutokoro is the Japanese school of magic in the wizarding world of HP. My story behind the piece is a ruin of the school, what is left after a war between the school and the remaining Death Eaters from Voldemort's followers. Broken down walls, rubble, and piles of skulls, the once students and staff at Mahoutokoro. It has a more twisted story than one may think could be possible in the wizarding world of the heroic "Boy Who Lived", but it's a scene with my own spin. | 3750 x 3000px @ 300dpi 21.6mgb | @undeaddeaths on Twitter & IG
