Real-valued hexagonal wave automaton on a 30,301-cell grid. The central 7,651 cells form a denser material through which a sinusoidal pulse refracts outward. The image evoked is that of a perpetual light shining from within a crystal — the seed of hexagonal consciousness, come forth to free us from our orthogonal preconceptions. Is the hexagon a particle or a wave? Or is it something else entirely?
