"I’ve lost the track of days since my last journal entry. The journey has been more difficult that before, but I feel that I'm at a brink of important discovery. I've been following a cold lead for weeks, but my instinct is telling me to go on, to not give up.
The streets here are emptier than I'm used to, even though street lights and signs glow as bright as any active city I've been to. It looks abandoned and well maintained at the same time. It's hard to put into words, but there have been many such contradictions, but harder to explain.
The other oddities are the writings all around the streets. I don't recognize the symbols as any I've seen before. However, they're too well structured to be random. I'm starting to notice patterns, so I'm noting them down. It's hard to keep track, but I'm almost certain one of the symbols changed a little after I returned to it a few days later.
Lastly, my dreams have been special, to say the least. Probably the main reason I’m not ready to leave this place. I keep dreaming of streets that aren't really here, or at least I haven't found them yet. Sometimes I simply walk through a solid wall and find myself in a paradise of magnificent plants with a giant in the center, I don’t even know what it’s called. It's like it's calling out to me, as it's the dreams are way too vivid to be just a figment of my imagination, or at least I hope so ."
