Siren of the Stars:
"Far from it's home world, this cosmic Siren has long been abandoned on this planet. Rarely leaving the solitude of it's underwater grotto, it sits in its cavern awaiting unexpecting sailors. At first the sailors hear a song, something sweet, and calming, entrancing them into a carefree state and sailing towards the beautiful unfathomable words of its song. Then the pitch rises with a sharp surge, piercing their ears and causing their brains so much pain they believe it may explode. In this chaotic confusion the ship stays its course, towards the sharp rocks encircling the underwater cavity, 'til the ship crashes bringing the sailors, still writhing in pain unable to swim, down into the depths of the unforgiving abyss."
