Forest Spirit

God of Life and Death- Shishigami Pixel cats series- Cat#121 ----- I love Ghibli movies, they are inspiring and timeless treasures, appreciated both by adults and children. We can always return to for comfort and inspiration. The movies accentuate the importance of living in harmony with nature, but also the destructive force of greed. ----- Thanks to Ghibli I feel empowered to create work that might be considered childish, but I embrace the playful and innocent nature of creation without judgement. My goal is to combine storytelling and art into a memorable and inspiring experience. I strive to create uplifting art, but it can occasionally be dark and melancholic as life is an ever changing flow and all emotions are valid and have a purpose. Just like the god of life and death, there is a balance and if it's disturbed, it can have terrifying consequences. Thankfully with persistence and good will there is always hope and new life. ----- Ghibli creates unique magical world's that have complex, multi-dimension characters, and I hope to learn how to create such believable characters with strengths and flaws that make them incredibly believable and relatable. Most importantly, the heroes don't give up when life gets hard, they often mature in the process.
