The circle is a symbol of the self. It represents ultimate wholeness. No study of art is complete without admiration for Vasily Kandinsky. This piece is a reinterpretation of one of his many circle masterpieces. I've inverted the background and made the borders bolder to represent how the symbol of the self has changed in the last 100 years.
