Starry Village

"Voxel Artwork: Starry Village" This piece is inspired from Van Gogh’s “De sterrennacht”. The motivation to make it 3d and voxelize it on last Christmas comes from a movie I watched when I was 12. The story is between a boy and a girl, whose parents are divorced that they can’t receive full love from their families. They became hating their school life due to loneliness and the experience of being bullied. The boy and girl decided to leave their home and adventure in the forest to visit the girl’s grandfather. The grandfather is the only person that really care about the girl’s mood and thoughts. However, during the adventure, the girl caught a fever and she had to go to the hospital. When she woke up, the boy that always accompanied her moved due to his violent father. Years later, the boy ran a puzzle store in a foreign country. When the girl accidentally entered the store on Christmas, she was curious about that each puzzle map had a piece missing. Later she realized she was the missing piece of the boy life. When they finally met each other, their puzzle of life eventually became completed. Fully built and rendered in software Magicavoxel.
