A new image, created on an original photo from the early 1900s. Colorful Guest 621: The Explorer.
A little reflection on the difference between discovering and conquering. Discovering new worlds and new things is fascinating, but too often the human being tries to conquer by discovering. By destroying and plundering. Enslaving. The explorer is a bit of a metaphor for this thought. Instead of the human, a cyborg or an automaton. Today it conquers the earth, tomorrow other planets. We reflect. Discovering is not conquering.
