"The Collector is a mythical, presumed Immortal, being that travels across universes collectings tales, histories and legends. Given the amount of work that involves, It is hypothesized that It has a tendency to pick up a few disciples here and there, who serve It in their home realities by collecting new tales for It, in the hopes that It will grant them a measure of its power (Not that there has ever been a proper sighting of The Collector, other than that given by its disciples)." -- The Girik Bestiary, chapter IX 'Theoretical Gods'
