Gift of Life is the most personal painting I’ve ever done. This piece commemorates the 11 year anniversary of my bone marrow donation to a little girl from Ukraine. I remember looking at my parents before the donation and telling them that I was nervous. “Keep the faith,” they said. After hearing those words, I knew that my bone marrow was going to save this little girl.
