This tale is about an artist. An artist who is suffering inside. Rejected, alone, their heart broken many times. The only comfort they find is with a paint brush and canvas. Painting and drinking away their misery, only to keel over and die, unknown. ------------ The outsider is an artist who tends to be misunderstood. Avoiding the mainstream art world they teach themselves, following their own path of self discovery. The artwork created is confusing for most, disregarded, and looked down upon. But the outsider isn't creating for attention or critiques, they do it for themselves. It is a process of taking everything bubbling up inside and ripping it out to expose it to the world. Most times the outsider is ignored throughout their lives, only when they die do people discover their works and appreciate the emotions recorded within their creations.
