This is a picture about the place I grew up in, a city in the French Alps called Annecy.
A lot of it has inspired my art, and this is a dream version of it.
I walked along its old streets and took a lot of pictures. I then used those to model elements in 3D and create a composition: I used the town as a palette for my painting.
This picture evokes the sweet life there, the mix between middle age buildings and modern life.
The bather is an allegory of this “dolce vita”.
