"When a Dream Worm begins to starve before it can hatch from its cocoon, what emerges is often called a Night Wyrm, but recent studies show that they do not seek sustenance from Dreamers anymore, not even from Nightmares, as was previously believed.
Instead, they feast upon Abstract thoughts, upon those things that do not make sense, which are not anchored directly in Reality.
Though this makes them no less lethal to those that neglected them during their cocooning."
