I captured this moment before the pandemic hit. Its classic New York City peak hour, the energy in the air is electric, and when you’re in it, you become connected to what feels like it’s bloodstream. Anyone who’s lived in NYC knows what I’m talking about.I can’t explain it, except when you’re in it, surrounded by it, caught up in it, for a brief moment you lose yourself, you become part of the whole, it’s as if the city turns into its very own organism and you’re like one of its blood cells, doing its part, keeping the city alive. I’ve said this many times before, I always felt like a New Yorker way before I was a New Yorker. This moment is one of these cells in action. A Taxi Cab entering into the city’s bloodstream.
