Submerged

“Submerged” describes a forlorn narrative of a teary-eyed young man wandering the dark wet dream space of the unconscious. Within the scene, the youth is confronted by an “Aqua-Sattva” or teacher fish, who is vertically suspended, its eye at the level of the boy’s 3rd-Eye, serving as a symbolic reminder of higher consciousness. Jellyfish brush against the young man from behind like curious fingers while the parakeet over his shoulder exhibits a psychedelic morphism of crustacean and fish; a psychic exploration of the aquatic condition. Unidentified Submerged Objects (USO’s) playfully dance and dart throughout the background. Just as soon as the teacher fish had appeared before the boy, it fades out again, coldly leaving the teen to gaze alone into the abyss.
