The city lights ripple in the distance, now no more than a haze. We have made our escape and the night is ours. This place feels familiar yet not quite real. As if stolen from our dreams. Even the warm breeze on our skin feels somehow strange and mystical. Are we even really here? For now, the question drifts away. All that matters is right in front of us.
