This original art piece represents the fourth chapter of Dante's Inferno, part of the Divine Comedy. It belongs to a series of only 34 minted NFTs, one for each chapter. || 4th Canto || Dante, awakened by a loud thunder, finds himself in Limbo. The fourth canto describes the first Circle of Hell, reserved to unbaptized children and to men and women of valour who did not know God in life. Dante makes his way through the dense array of souls of the unbaptized until he reaches a luminous area, in which he meets Homer, Horace, Ovid and Lucan. After going through a moat and seven gates, the poets get inside the castle of the "great spirits" where Dante, excited, sees the souls of Julius Caesar, Aeneas, Aristotle and other spirits.
