In response we drove him out, hunted his kin and decorated our homes with their mantles. Filled with greed and hatred, we drove its species to the abyss, facing the brink of extinction.
After a while their tales fell into oblivion. Never to be spoken of.
But some remained hopeful, whispering and praying in the shadows of the undergrowth.
