'Private Matters' is a piece that focuses primarily on the private matters of Korean society, that is the red-light districts. One of the things that amazed me when I first came to Korea was the overabundance of love hotels. They are especially prevalent in locations near Universities, but they can be found in any area.
The primary reason for their presence is that most adult Koreans stay living with their parents until marriage. There is no privacy so the only way they can hide away from prying eyes is through a love hotel.
This image was taken one weekday morning around 5 am. In those days I would wake up early to go to the gym before work and on this particular morning, it was raining. There is a camera that I carry with me wherever I may go, just in case. I was really happy to carry the camera with me that morning, as I was able to capture such an amazing image that I don't think I would have been able to get any other time/
