I shot this at the tidal pool at the Strand, just outside Cape Town, South Africa at sunset. This is my most awarded landscape, receiving the Bronze medal (runner up) in the PSSA ( The Photographic Society Of South Africa) 2020 competition.
I shot it on my Hasselblad H4D-40 camera with my 50 - 110 mm lens set at 80mm, 100 ISO, f27, 256 seconds exposure time.
I attached my Lee Big Stopper filter ( 10 f stops) to achieve the long exposure.
I chose this exposure to streak the clouds and smoothen out the waves/ water.
I then desaturated the processed image to give it a full colour black & white look.
