Humans often sacrifice nature for culture (Human-made). This work of mine focuses on living things that are "Sacrificed" every year in the name of religion, which is a cultural element.
This photograph is a vanitas. A vanitas is a symbolic work of art showing the transience of life, the futility of pleasure, and the certainty of death, often contrasting symbols of wealth and symbols of ephemerality
and death.
