I love photographing the American West and the cowboys that occupy that vastness of this epic landscape. For me, the cowboy is a metaphor for freedom. I thought this surreal double exposure of the cowboy with the juxtaposition of the foliage in the landscape illustrates the integration of the natural environment they both exist in.
