This artwork was part of 0xSociety's "MetaVRse" exhibition, which aims to understand and question how trends in the digital world will impact our lives and the environment. Sound Design: Gunes Uyanik ------------------ Today is 5th of April, 2048. We left the city 10 years ago and started to living as small communities. There wasn't any reason to living in urban since we weren't travel often anymore in real life as we used to. We mostly connect in metaverse now, where everywhere is close. Drones take care of the daily stuff now mostly, people no longer works in delivery services or maintenance. After people left to cities and stop travelling nature started to bloom rapidly. A few years later nature took back to all the cities and first outcome of this was rain, rainfalls are 6 days of week now. Some people say nature took back what's hers and left us this digital world. We live happily in it, for now.
